No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Wolf Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, San Juan River - East Fork offers some tremendous whitewater. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Ivy Creek flows through this area; the Highline Trail is a good hiking trail nearby.
This camp ground
 
is one of the great spots to camp here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Alright, enough of spending all this time inside a building, it's time to go camping, and Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead in Colorado is precisely the spot. Colorado is a great outdoors state.
So much amusing stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. While you're here at Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead you can take a hike along the Rainbow Trail; do stop at Love Lake, it's a charming lake. Not much rainfall falls here at Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month is June. A campground like this is too good to miss. Going for a hike along the Long Ridge Stock Driveway will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and glide down the rapids of Wolf Creek in a kayak.
On a good day at Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead you can take a hike along the McKenzie Stock Driveway, and paddling on Rio Grande is so much fun.
