Forest is a tremendous site, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Middle Creek Stock Driveway. So much cool stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not sufficient time. This is a pleasant region for people

who like lakes. Seepage Lake is a lake close by. Near Ivy Creek Campground and Trailhead you discover the Rainbow Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail; hey, Ivy Creek is a great local stream. Going for a hike on the McKenzie Stock Driveway is always a delightful adventure; the slopes of Wolf Creek are so inviting nobody can resist. There are great spots to look at along the Highline Trail, and the Long Ridge Stock Driveway is a wonderful hiking trail nearby.
