Indian Run Campground, Colorado

  So many local attractions and such a perfect variety of outdoors recreation are great incentives to come. With so much stuff to do in Colorado you'll never get bored. You're sure to run into some nice people from Hamilton here; whitewater paddling is tremendous on Yampa River. Going for a hike on the Sleepy Cat Trail is always a wonderful adventure; on a beautiful day you get a perfect sight of Round Mountain from Indian Run Campground.
There's absolutely no way to run out of entertaining things to do close to Indian Run Campground; if you're trying
    to find a nice location to go camping, this is a delightful choice. A lot of people stay at Indian Run Campground in order to be in the neighborhood of Yampa River Legacy State Park.
And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Indian Run Campground. Go for a hike
on the Bailey Lake Trail, and White River - North Fork has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Indian Run Campground is loved by visitors from Hamilton. This campground is so great. Why not stop by Sullivan Dam while you're here, and a visit to Rifle Falls State Park is a perfect idea.
As if Indian Run Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. A spree to Indian Run Campground wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Yampa River Legacy State
 
Park; don't leave Indian Run Campground without first going for a hike along the Oyster Lake Trail.

It is very dried out here at Indian Run Campground typically; most of the rain falls during October, and January is when it's the driest.
There's some flowing water close by, Beaver Creek is a stream you can have a look at while you're here, and paddling on White River - South Fork is so much fun. During the summer months at Indian Run Campground temperatures are generally in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Indian Run Campground dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
