| | This camp ground is one of the wonderful places to camp here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This campground is so perfect. Around Hooligan Roost Campground you don’t get a lot of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here while February is typically the driest month. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Hooligan Roost Campground get into the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the winter the highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Hooligan Roost Campground. |
Don't forget to take a great little spree to Jinks Creek, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Joe Wright Creek. Lots of people stay at this campground in order to be right next door to State Forest State Park. Hooligan Roost Campground is right by the
| Link Trail; a magnificent place for whitewater paddling is Cache La Poudre River. Be careful coming to the Medicine Bow Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Rawah Trail, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Camp Lake Trail. Yeah, come up here to the Medicine Bow Mountains for a wonderful time. have such a vast number of things to offer. When you're here at Hooligan Roost Campground it's always fun to take a look at State Forest State Park, and why not take a refreshing hike along the McIntyre Trail. There's loads of outdoors recreation available close by such as hiking,
and whitewater paddling, so there's no way to get bored. So much exciting stuff close to Hooligan Roost Campground, and it is a great escape from the routine. The great local attractions and such a vast number of things to do are magnificent reasons to come. A visit to Colorado
is not complete without some camping. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Hooligan Roost Campground. Hiking along the McIntyre Lake Trail is brilliant fun, and Roosevelt National Forest is a delightful spot to stretch your legs a bit.
