Haviland Lake Campground, San Juan and Jemez Mountains, Colorado

  Colorado is a nice place for campers. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Haviland Lake Campground; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is June.
There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Haviland Lake Campground. Near Haviland Lake Campground you find the Highline Trail which is a great hiking trail, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a trip to nearby San Juan National Forest. This campground is so splendid. A spree to Mancos State Park when you're here at Haviland Lake Campground is a great idea,
    and you're sure to stumble upon some wonderful people from Durango here.
Be careful coming to Haviland Lake Campground, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Haviland Lake Campground. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally
in the 30's. Highs during the winter are typically in the 30's while Haviland Lake Campground night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. All year is a perfect time in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Animas River; Haviland Lake Campground is not the only place close by, Electra Lake is a close by lake.
A campground like this is too splendid to miss. Going for a hike on the Circle Trail is always a magnificent adventure, and you can never get enough of the
 
delightful skiing at Durango. Go for a hike on the Goodhope Stock Driveway; a good place for whitewater paddling is Canyon Creek. It's been too much time since you went outside, and Haviland Lake Campground, Colorado is a nice place for getting out.
So many amusing things close to Haviland Lake Campground, and campgrounds like these are nice. There's great hiking along the Ryman Trail; why not take a little trip to Canyon Creek if you're here.
If you crave a little side visit, try Nary Draw; Haviland Lake Dam is a beautiful site.
Some of the things you can do here at Haviland Lake Campground are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so almost certainly you want to stick around. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will unquestionably have you coming back repeatedly.
So many fun things to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, too nice to be true. Don't leave Haviland Lake Campground without first going for a hike along the Highline Trail, and Hermosa Creek is a splendid whitewater spot nearby.
