Halfmoon Campground, Sawatch Range, Colorado   This is such a charming campground. Go for a hike on the Main Range Trail; close to Halfmoon Campground you discover a golf course called MT Massive Golf Course. You truly must love the Sawatch Range. Whitewater paddling is great on Clear Creek; there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Mount Elbert Trail. Just can't get enough of Halfmoon Campground. Lake Creek is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Halfmoon Campground; close by you hit upon the Main Range Trail which is a great hiking trail. Camping out unquestionably is an entertaining     thing to do; Halfmoon Campground in Colorado is such a great place. Halfmoon Campground is a perfect camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Sawatch Range. Halfmoon Campground is often visited by the people of Twin Lakes. This is such a magnificent campground. There's some flowing water close by, Mill Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here, and places like White River National Forest are nice to stop by. At Halfmoon Campground cool stuff to do is bountiful; camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a great place to do that. As if Halfmoon Campground wasn't enough, you can also go fishing, hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. If you are in Colorado through camping season, you have to go camping. During your spree   to Halfmoon Campground you'll meet some people from Twin Lakes for sure, and San Isabel National Forest is a magnificent site to go to. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable things to do in the Sawatch Range. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River, and hey, Gotta ski right? Ski Cooper is a great spot to do that. Do check out Cozart Reservoir right next door to Halfmoon Campground, it's a stunning lake, and going for a hike on the Mount Massive Trail is always a glorious adventure. Throughout the warm months here at Halfmoon Campground, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Halfmoon Campground fall into the 0's. There are brilliant places to explore along the Highline Trail.
