If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so probably you want to stay for a while. Getting to Notch Mountain Creek from Half Moon Campground is painless, and Beaver Creek has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff.

meet someone from Red Cliff, and White River National Forest is a delightful site. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Sawatch Range. The Fall Creek Trail offers hiking at its best; Half Moon Pass is a great place to explore. A lot of fun
is at this campground. Bowl of Tears is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; why not take a refreshing hike along the Half Moon Trail.
Half Moon Campground is an old favorite with the people of Red Cliff. This campground is a magnificent place to visit. Have a tremendous
hiking adventure along the Main Range Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Eagle River.
All the fine local attractions in the neighborhood and so many things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back persistently. This camp ground is one of the tremendous places to
camp here in the Sawatch Range. Not much rainfall falls here at Half Moon Campground; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
