Gore Pass Campground. Glide down the rapids of Rock Creek in a kayak, and there's magnificent hiking along the Midway Trail. Gore Pass Campground is pretty dehydrated typically; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February.
You're sure to run into some fine folks from Edwards here, and White River National Forest is a tremendous spot to explore on a gorgeous day. Hiking along the Service Creek Trail is splendid fun, and lovely scenery and fine skiing is what you get at Beaver Creek. Gore Pass Campground is a fine camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Park Range.
