Don't leave Gore Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Two Elk Trail, and Gore Creek Campground is not far at all from Vail. The tremendous selection of local attractions, and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back persistently. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Lost Lake Trail, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Deluge Lake is just a very short distance away. |

Gore Creek Campground is an old favorite with the folks of Vail. Summer at Gore Creek Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Through the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; overnight lows at Gore Creek Campground
| during the wintertime commonly plunge into the 0's. This is such a fun place for a campground. Black Gore Creek flows through this area, and a spree to Arapaho National Forest revitalizes the spirit. There's lots of outdoors recreation available in the neighborhood such as swimming, hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and playing golf, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Dillion Trail is a great local trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Arkansas River offers some magnificent whitewater. This campground is a picturesque place to have a look at. The snow is pleasant at Vail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's
for you then, we recommend Cross Creek. There are perfect places to look at along the Deluge Lake Trail, and drift down the rapids of Gore Creek in a kayak. Gore Creek Campground is a location that is reasonably dried up regularly; during the month of July you get the most
rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. It's out of the question to run out of enjoyable things to do right next door to Gore Creek Campground; when you're here you're always having a splendid time. At last, it's time to go camping again, and Gore Creek
Campground, Colorado is a splendid location for getting out. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool stuff to do in the Park Range. There's magnificent hiking along the Slate Creek Trail; for you golfers we recommend nearby Vail Golf Club. The Park Range scenery is always picturesque. White River National Forest is a tremendous place to go if you're at Gore Creek Campground.
