The Park Range is so good! Arkansas River is a delightful whitewater spot in the vicinity of Gore Creek Campground, and the Slate Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. It is very dried up here at Gore Creek Campground mostly; through July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
