Gore Creek Campground is a campground reasonably frequently visited by folks in Vail. What would winter be without some skiing at Vail, and great hiking is available along the Lost Lake Trail. High temperatures at Gore Creek Campground during the summer months are in the 70's, and the night is rather cooler of course, frequently in the 40's. Campground is not the only location close by, Deluge Lake is a close by lake. This campground is so magnificent. Arkansas River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Vail here. There's lots of outdoors recreation available around here
such as playing golf, swimming, whitewater paddling, hiking, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Gore Creek Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Park Range. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Park Range. A
fine place like Arapaho National Forest next to Gore Creek Campground is too magnificent to leave out, and nearby you discover the Deluge Lake Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Alright, time to go camping, or what do you think? Gore Creek Campground in Colorado is the outdoors
at its finest. There are pleasant spots to discover along the Slate Creek Trail; if you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gore Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Park Range. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Cross Creek, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Vail Golf Club.
