Gold Creek Campground, Sawatch Range, Colorado   As if Gold Creek Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go whitewater paddling, swimming, fishing, and hiking, so running out of cool things to do won’t happen. If only every spot had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. Lake Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close by. And that's not all there is to do here in the Sawatch Range. Lamphier Creek flows through this neighborhood, and a visit to Curecanti National Recreation Area is worthwhile.
