| a hike along the Carson Lake Trail, and going for a hike along the Deep Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. A beautiful lake like Jumbo Reservoir right next door to Glacier Spring Campground is a nice site to stop by; the snow is nice at Powderhorn. Not far from Glacier Spring Campground you obtain some glorious water scenery at Jumbo Dam, and Grand Mesa National Forest is a fine location to stretch your legs a bit.
