It's a pleasant idea to have a look at Beaver Creek, it's close to Gilbert Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Willow Creek. This is such a fun spot for a campground. The Horseshoe Sulfur Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in close proximity to Gilbert Campground, and get drenched paddling on Colorado River. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Gilbert Campground dip into the-10's.
