| | Freeman Mesa Campground is a campground that is fantastically liked by folks of Meredith. This camp ground is one of the great spots to camp here in the Sawatch Range. This is such a delightful campground. Don't leave Freeman Mesa Campground without first going for a hike along the Chapman Trail, and Sylvan State Park is both pleasant and delightful. Among the things you can do in the neighborhood of Freeman Mesa Campground are swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen.

Mesa Campground through the warm months highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and night lows through the winter for Freeman Mesa Campground tend to be in the 0's. There's tremendous hiking along
| the Ironedge Trail, and the top of Ford Peak is easily seen from Freeman Mesa Campground. All the outdoors entertaining stuff in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back many times. Here at Freeman Mesa Campground you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Meredith, and Stockyard Gulch is another tremendous place to go to close by.

water? Try Freeman Creek. There is so much exciting stuff to do close to Freeman Mesa Campground; it is a wonderful escape from the ordinary.
This is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes. Lost Lake is a lake in close proximity. At last, it's time for a camping trip again;

This campground is always a pleasure. Very striking scenery and good skiing is what you get at Aspen Mountain, and you can run the rapids of Roaring Fork.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. There
are splendid sites to look at along the Antone Trail, and when you're here it's always fun to stop by White River National Forest. Colorado has scores of outdoors activities.
The Last Chance Trail offers hiking at its best, and there's whitewater on Fryingpan River for all
you adrenaline kick people. It is very arid here at Freeman Mesa Campground mostly; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most while February is regularly the driest month.
