Don't go   whitewater kayaking or rafting in advance of first checking conditions; it's hazardous matter. This is a delightful neighborhood for people who like lakes. Pastorius Reservoir is a lake in close proximity. The Highline Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Florida Campground, and if you're visiting from Bayfield, you won't be the only one.
