| Campground during the months of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Florida Campground are in the 0's.

to discover along the Deer Park Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the San Juan Mountains has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway, and paddling on Canyon Creek is so much fun.
This is such a tremendous campground.
Going for a hike on the Whitehead Trail is always a delightful adventure, and Blodgett Creek is close to Florida Campground and is always a diversion to take a look at. Glide down the rapids of Animas River in a kayak; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by Durango.
So much entertaining stuff in close proximity to Florida Campground, and when you're here you're always having a good time. Having a splendid time in the San Juan Mountains is uncomplicated. You might want to pay a visit to McClure Canyon if you're here at Florida Campground, and
a trip to Navajo Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Go for a hike on the Highline Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Vallecito Creek.
