Fish Creek Campground, Medicine Bow Mountains, Colorado   Some folks stay here when going to Roosevelt National Forest. This camp ground is situated in the picturesque Medicine Bow Mountains. The fine variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came. During the summertime at Fish Creek Campground temperatures are generally in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's; overnight lows in the 0's for Fish Creek Campground. Not much rain falls here at Fish Creek Campground;     July is when you get the most rain here while December is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Fish Creek flows through this vicinity, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River. A spree to Lory State Park revitalizes the spirit; there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Lost Lake Trail. It's not possible to run out of enjoyable things to do close to Fish Creek Campground; camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a splendid location to do that. Fish Creek Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the folks of Glen Haven. A visit to Colorado is not complete without some camping. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. At Fish Creek Campground you always meet someone from Glen Haven,   and there are wonderful sites to explore along the Mount McConnel Trail. Having a nice time at Fish Creek Campground is trouble-free. Going for a hike on the Kreutzer Nature Trail is always a great adventure; Rocky Mountain National Park is a good place close by. Lots of fun is at this campground. Roosevelt National Forest is a brilliant location; if you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River - South Fork offers some good whitewater. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Medicine Bow Mountains is great! Jacks Gulch is a splendid place to stop by nearby; close by you find the Stormy Peaks Trail which is a fine hiking trail. This campground is a great spot to go to. There's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; on a great day you can take a hike along the Signal Mountain Trail.
