| | On a nice day at Eggleston Campground you can take a hike along the Lily Lake Trail; Eggleston Campground is not far at all from Cedaredge. At Eggleston Campground exciting stuff to do is plentiful, and it's one of those sites where everything is magnificent.
There's more to do in close proximity to Eggleston Campground other than just hanging out such as swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so it's completely out of the question to get bored. This campground is so gorgeous. The High Foot Trail is a nice hiking trail next to Eggleston |

Campground. Lakes are magnificent; Eggleston Lake is a lake that's right next door to Eggleston Campground. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Eggleston Campground. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's,
| and nighttime lows at Eggleston Campground throughout the wintertime generally dip into the 10's.
Eggleston Campground is pretty dry usually; through October this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. If the weather is delightful, you obtain a splendid view of Horse Mountain from Eggleston Campground; places like Vega State Park are magnificent to go to. Going for a hike on the Cottonwood Lakes Foot Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gunnison | |

Ok, you've been cooped up too long, and Eggleston Campground in Colorado is a really magnificent site to spend some time. This is beyond doubt a pleasant campground. Grand Mesa National Forest is a great location to stretch your legs a bit; a pleasant place for whitewater
paddling is Gunnison River. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can visit Eggleston Dam, and nearby you come across the Foot Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
This sector of Colorado is always a joy to pop by during camping season. The pleasant local attractions
and all the outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back over and over.
Eggleston Campground is incredibly popular with folks in Cedaredge. Kannah Creek is a brilliant whitewater spot near Eggleston Campground.

While you're here at Eggleston Campground you can take a hike along the Crag Crest Trail, and you can never get enough of the pleasant skiing at Powderhorn.
