This is truly a delightful campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend East River, and here at East Maroon Portal Campground you can spot Sievers Mountain. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer.
The great local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. East Maroon Creek is a wonderful site to visit; Gunnison National Forest is a striking location any time of year.
