There's more to do in the vicinity of Dearhamer Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's out of the question to get bored.

At Dearhamer Campground you don’t see much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. There
are so many cool things right next door to Dearhamer Campground, and it is a very glorious campground. There is a great hiking trail close to Dearhamer Campground called the Sawyer Lake Trail, and if you've had enough of Dearhamer Campground, Leeman Lakes is close by.

so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Sawatch Range is excellent! There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Aspen Mountain, and White River National Forest is a striking location any time of year. This is a perfect campground. Near Dearhamer Campground you discover
the Last Chance Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Antone Trail.
Dearhamer Campground is to be found in the Sawatch Range. Scores of people stay at this campground when they come to explore Sylvan State Park.
