Campground is Rio de los Pinos, and at Conejos Campground you can spot Black Mountain. Conejos Campground is one of the spots to camp here in the San Juan Mountains. Take a hike on the Red Lake Trail, and Rio Brazos is a fine whitewater spot close by.
The warmest time of the
year brings highs in the 60's to Conejos Campground. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Conejos Campground. This campground has so much enjoyable
stuff to offer. Conejos Campground is right by the Posos Trail.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Conejos Campground a wet place; March is when you get the most snow here, and June is the month with the least moisture. This campground is so wonderful. The Ruybalid Trail offers hiking at its best, and Heron Lake State Park is a great place.
