Cimarron Campground is a very well liked campground by campers from Cimarron. Going for a hike on the Lou Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gunnison River.

The Deer Creek Trail is a wonderful hiking trail near Cimarron Campground, and you need to stop by Morrow Point while you're here. During the summer months at Cimarron Campground highs are generally in the 80's, and the night is quite cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Cimarron Campground are in the 10's.

This campground has so incredibly much. On a good day at Cimarron Campground you
can take a hike along the Hartman Trail, and don't forget to take a good little tour to Squaw Creek. You have to get out of the house, and Cimarron Campground, Colorado is a brilliant spot for getting out. As if Cimarron Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go whitewater
paddling, and hiking, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen.
Do check out Morrow Point Dam while you're here at Cimarron Campground, and Cimarron Point is something you shouldn't miss if you're here. Lots of people stay at this campground through their journey to Crawford
State Park. Around Cimarron Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; October is when you get the most rain here, and June is when it's the driest.
