Crested Butte is loved by skiers; it has 80% green and blue ski trails and 20% hard ski trails. A total of 1,167 acres of skiing area in all. Crested Butte nearby is a nice ski hill with a good 2,775-foot vertical drop served by 16 ski lifts; it has 121 ski trails and receives 25 feet of great snow per year.
