Cement Creek Campground, Colorado   There are some splendid whitewater spots on East River, and there are good locations to look at along the Onemile Cattle Trail. This is such a good campground. Horse Basin is a delightful place; don't leave Cement Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Star Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Cement Creek Campground. Skiing at Irwin Lodge is one of those things you just have to do, and good hiking is available along the Matchless Trail. Cement Creek Campground is a very popular campground     with people of Crested Butte. This is such a scenic campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Oh Be Joyful Creek, and Curecanti National Recreation Area is a good place nearby. Summertime at Cement Creek Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Cement Creek Campground. It's a splendid idea to pop by Horse Basin Creek, it's in the vicinity of Cement Creek Campground, and lots of folks from Crested Butte come here. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Cement Creek Campground. Gunnison National Forest is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit. Walrod Gulch is a wonderful place to check out close by;   if you're looking for a pleasant visit, Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is quite near. All the wonderful local attractions in the neighborhood and the wonderful variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. If you come at the right time of year, Taylor River offers some magnificent whitewater, and there's good hiking along the Trail Riders Trail. Point Lookout is easy to spot from Cement Creek Campground, and going for a hike on the Granite Basin Trail is always a great adventure. Colorado is a magnificent place for campers. There's more to do in the neighborhood of Cement Creek Campground other than just hanging out such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you won’t run out of things to do.
