Some of the water close by flows, like Barlow Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Winter Trail. All through the summertime, highs frequently are in the 70's at Cayton Campground. It is very dry here at Cayton Campground frequently; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is June.
