| | Cayton Campground is a campground reasonably often visited by folks from Rico. The wonderful local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. A day on the slopes of Telluride is just what you need; paddling on Lime Creek is so much fun.
There is a delightful hiking trail in the vicinity of Cayton Campground called the Lizard Head Trail, and San Miguel River has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby. Hey, it's about time you went camping, don't you think? Cayton Campground in Colorado is exactly the place.

Some of the water close by flows, like Barlow Creek, and you can go for a hike on the Winter Trail. All through the summertime, highs frequently are in the 70's at Cayton Campground. This section of Colorado is always a bliss to go to through camping season. This campground is so perfect. Ridgway State Park is a nice site to check out, and going for a hike on the Kilpacker Trail is always a brilliant
adventure. So much exciting stuff to do here at Cayton Campground, too tremendous to be true. While you're here at Cayton Campground you can take a hike along the Cross Mountain Trail, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Hermosa Creek.
It is very dry here at Cayton Campground frequently; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is June.
