plunge down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the 30's with temperatures at Capote Campground dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. All year is a good time in the San Juan Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike
along the Fourmile Stock Trail, and why not visit Pargin Dam if you're here. It's out of the question to run out of fun things to do close to Capote Campground; being here is always fun. This is such a pleasant campground. Glide down the rapids of Piedra River in a kayak, and the sight of gorgeous Haystack Mountain is magnificent.
