  Man, is there a lot of amusing stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If the weather is great here at Capote Campground, you can go for a hike along the Middle Mountain Trail, and spots like Navajo Lake State Park are pleasant to go to. The delightful local attractions and such a great deal of things to do will without doubt have you coming back over and over.
From a precipitation point of view Capote Campground is a reasonably normal place; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and June on the other hand is the driest.
    Here at Capote Campground there are plenty of folks from Chimney Rock, and from Capote Campground you get a great vista of Haystack Mountain.
Loads of fun is at this campground. There's whitewater on Piedra River for all you adrenaline junkies, and since you're here you can
take a hike along the Devil Mountain Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Capote Campground while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Capote Campground temperatures sink to the 0's.
Colorado has lots of outdoors activities. If only every location had this much outdoors exciting stuff, what a great planet it would be. On a wonderful day at Capote Campground you can take a hike along the Piedra Stock Trail, and if
 
you're here, you could also stop by pretty Pargin Reservoir.
If you love the outdoors, you won’t be saddened; there's whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. So much amusing stuff next to Capote Campground, and it indisputably is a great campground.
You completely should adore the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. There's some flowing water nearby, Vega la Juana Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Piedra River, and San Juan National Forest is a splendid location to stop at. This campground is a pleasant place to go to. The Fourmile Stock Trail is a delightful hiking trail next to Capote Campground, and not far from Capote Campground you get some great water scenery at Pargin Dam.
Feeling down from spending too much time inside, Don't worry; Capote Campground in Colorado is the outdoors at its best. Capote Campground is a very well prized campground by folks of Chimney Rock.
