Camp Rock Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the people in Idaho Springs. The great folks of Idaho Springs like to hang out nearby, and Camp Rock Campground is right by the Abyss Trail.
These mountains rock, just look at all the cool stuff to do in the Front Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rosalie Trail, and Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a glorious place to stretch your legs a bit. If you come to this |
campground, you will have a glorious time for sure. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on South Platte River - North Fork; a visit to Beaver Meadows revives the spirit.

Creek flows through this vicinity, and the Chicago Lakes Trail offers hiking at its best. As long as you love the outdoors you will love Colorado. Camp Rock Campground is located in a vicinity with a lot of enjoyable things to do, and to be at this place is wonderful fun any time.
If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. Eldorado State Park is a pretty location any time of year, and you'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Mud Lakes. Take a hike on the Craig Creek Trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Clear Creek.
Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. The view of beautiful Captain Mountain near Camp Rock Campground is great; if you come at the right time of year, Clear Creek offers some pleasant whitewater. The Front Range scenery is always gorgeous.
There's so many things
to do at Camp Rock Campground including fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Camp Rock Campground.
The snow is glorious at Eldora; you can have a perfect hiking adventure along the Payne Creek Trail.
