Colorado has such a vast number of things to offer nature lovers. Be careful coming to the Medicine Bow Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Don't leave Browns Park Campground without first going for a hike along the Camp Lake Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River. for some flowing water? Try Jinks Creek, and close by you come across the Link Trail which is a great hiking trail. This campground is a splendid place to check out. There are good sites to explore along the McIntyre Lake Trail; Joe Wright Creek has a pleasant whitewater paddling
| spot nearby. This camp ground is one of the good places to camp here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. There's lots of outdoors recreation available in the vicinity such as whitewater paddling, hiking, swimming, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. But wait, there's more to do close to Browns Park Campground. There is a good hiking trail in close proximity to Browns Park Campground called the McIntyre Trail, and when you're here it's always fun to explore Roosevelt National Forest. Park Campground; spending time at this campground is fantastically fun. A lot of folks stay at this campground in order to be in the neighborhood of State Forest State Park. Browns Park Campground is near State Forest State Park which is a gorgeous location, and Browns Park
Campground is not the only location nearby, Lost Lake is a nearby lake. It is very dried out here at Browns Park Campground mostly; most of the rain falls all through July, and the driest month of the year is February.
