| | Get soaked paddling on Arkansas River, and Black Lakes Campground is next to Arapaho National Forest which is a scenic spot. This campground is a wonderful place to pop by. Whitewater paddling is great on Arkansas River, and don't leave Black Lakes Campground without first going for a hike along the Wheeler Trail. Colorado has scores of outdoors activities. Coming to this campground is always a wonderful idea. There are splendid locations to explore along the Wheeler Dillion Trail, and do explore Gore Lake, it's a scenic lake. Now, you may feel that's loads but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Park Range. so much cool stuff near Black Lakes Campground, and it is a wonderful campground. There's more to do close to Black Lakes Campground other than just hanging out such as hiking, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do. Such a nice pick
of attractions and the close by outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. Black Lakes Campground is an old favorite with the folks in Frisco. Man, is there a load of fun stuff to do right next door to Black Lakes Campground. You might want to pay a visit to Shrine
Pass if you're here at Black Lakes Campground, and White River National Forest is a delightful place to stretch your legs a bit. Black Lakes Campground gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls through July, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This camp ground is one of the nice places to camp here in the Park Range.
