Big Springs Campground, San Juan and Jemez Mountains, Colorado   All the great local attractions in close proximity and all the outdoors recreation will without doubt have you coming back over and over. Curecanti National Recreation Area is one of the destinations right next door to Big Springs Campground that are perfect to go to, and you can go for a hike on the Lime Creek Stock Driveway. This sector of Colorado has a wonderful deal of outdoors activities offered. Big Springs Campground is a fine camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Big Springs Campground dipping down into the-10's during winter nights.
