January is when it's the driest. Big South Campground is right by the Blue Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is great on Cache La Poudre River. This campground has so many fun things to offer. Don't forget to take a nice little trip to Joe Wright Creek. As if Big South Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go swimming, fishing, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do.
