Big South Campground, Medicine Bow Mountains, Colorado   You shouldn't spend too much time in the city; you need to get out every so often, and Big South Campground in Colorado is a really nice place to spend some time. This camp ground is to be found in the pretty Medicine Bow Mountains. This campground is a great site to take a look at. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Big South Campground. State Forest State Park is a splendid place to stretch your legs a bit, and hiking along the Big South Trail is wonderful fun. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Medicine     Bow Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Green Ridge Trail, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Blue Lake Trail. It is very dry here at Big South Campground typically; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. Soar down the rapids of Joe Wright Creek in a kayak, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Roaring Fork Trail. There's loads of outdoors recreation available around here such as whitewater paddling, and hiking, so in all probability you want to stay for a while. All the magnificent local attractions around here and all the outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back many times. Loads of people select this campground to be close to Roosevelt National Forest. There are so many amusing things to do near Big South   Campground, and if you're searching for a nice place to go for a camping trip, this is a perfect choice. Take a hike on the Zimmerman Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache La Poudre River. You simply have to love the Medicine Bow Mountains. When you're here at Big South Campground it's always fun to stop at Roosevelt National Forest, and don't miss out on a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park if you're here. This part of Colorado has a nice deal of outdoors activities offered. For the duration of the summer highs here at Big South Campground get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 30's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Big South Campground sink into the 0's. Loads of fun is at this campground. Some of the water nearby flows, like Joe Wright Creek, and if you come at the right time of year, Cache La Poudre River offers some fine whitewater.
