If you're searching for a class III whitewater sweep to paddle, you're in luck; the Green Mountain Reservoir to Spring Creek Road portion is a good 3.8-mile-long       piece of Blue River. This portion of Blue River is good for those with some kayak paddling knowledge. If you are going kayak paddling, you must always check restrictions. There are fine sites to discover along the Gore Range Trail;   the summit of Green Mountain can be distinguished from Big Green Campground. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna return home again. Near Big Green Campground you come across the Eaglesmere Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Everybody loves Arapaho National Forest, and you'll meet a lot of people from Silverthorne here.
