Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Cimarron River, and you have to absolutely dedicate some time to Cabbage Patch while you're here at Beaver Lake Campground. There are so many cool things to do in close proximity to Beaver Lake Campground; it is a fun location for young and old.
If you go for the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. Not
    much rain falls here at Beaver Lake Campground; the month with most of the rain is September, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Any time is a perfect time at Beaver Lake Campground if you have a thing about the outdoors. Fox Creek is one of the streams nearby that might
be worth going to, and the Lou Creek Trail offers hiking at its best.
Such a magnificent pick of attractions and such a magnificent variety of outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back persistently. Colorado is a great location for campers. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Beaver Lake Campground.
And that's not everything there is to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Take a hike on the Little Cimarron Trail; a good site for whitewater paddling is Cimarron River. This campground is a great spot to pop
 
by. There are other locations here than Beaver Lake Campground, for example Beaver Lake, and Silver Jack Dam is a pretty place. Lots of fun is at this campground. The good folks of Cimarron like to hang out nearby, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Courthouse Trail.
Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Ridgway State Park is a fine site to stretch your legs a bit, and what would winter be without some skiing at Kendall Mountain. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Henson Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Alpine Trail.
Beaver Lake Campground is one of the spots to camp here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Hiking is a popular thing to do around Beaver Lake Campground; Deer Creek Trail is a great local trail, and locations like Crawford State Park are pleasant to visit. At Beaver Lake Campground through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Beaver Lake Campground temperatures plunge to the 10's.
Some folks stay at Beaver Lake Campground so they can go to Ridgway State Park.
