Good hiking is available along the Goodhope Stock Driveway, and there's whitewater on Canyon Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. In Colorado you never run out of outdoors fun things. So many enjoyable things near Bear Creek Campground, and camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a fine place to do that. Going for a hike on the Whitehead Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and swing by Pole Creek it's a wonderful place |
to go to. You simply should have a thing about Bear Creek Campground. There is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Bear Creek Campground called the Highline Trail, and when you're here it's always fun to have a look at Navajo Lake State Park. Outdoors recreation is bountiful,
| some of the entertaining stuff you can do is fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so possibly you want to stay for a while. The brilliant variety of local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are splendid reasons to come. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool stuff to do in the San Juan Mountains. Juan Mountains. Bear Creek Campground is not the only place close by, Lost Lake is a close by lake; during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Durango for sure. Around Bear Creek Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and June
is when it's the driest. This campground is a scenic location to go to. Don't leave Bear Creek Campground without first going for a hike along the Circle Trail; Henderson Lake Dam is lovely. During the summer months here at Bear Creek Campground, high temperatures usually get
into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Bear Creek Campground through the wintertime regularly dip into the 0's. Big Bear Park is a nice site to stretch your legs a bit. Durango
is a delightful local ski area; you can run the rapids of Animas River. Hey, you've been indoors for too long, time has come to get out, and Bear Creek Campground in Colorado is a really fine place to spend some time.
