Avalanche Campground is a very popular campground with the folks from Carbondale. It's totally impossible to get bored in Colorado if you fancy the outdoors.
Paonia State Park is a fine location to go if you're at Avalanche Campground, and the skiing at Sunlight Mountain is splendid. All the magnificent local attractions in the vicinity and the nearby outdoors recreation will make you delighted you came.
