If you come at the right time of year, Uncompahgre River offers some good whitewater, and there's some flowing water close by, Kelly Creek is a stream you can visit while here. Spring Campground; it is a fun place for everybody. This is such a good campground. Going to Uncompahgre National Forest in the neighborhood of Antone Spring Campground is a glorious thing to do, and don't leave Antone Spring Campground without first going for a hike along the
Coal Bank Trail. It's not good for you to be in a building every day; you've got to get out of the house sometimes; Antone Spring Campground in Colorado is precisely the place. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. There's splendid hiking along
the Rouvideau Trail; Sweitzer State Park is a glorious place to stop by on a wonderful day. At Antone Spring Campground during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's,
and through the dark hours in the winter at Antone Spring Campground temperatures sink to the 10's. Around Antone Spring Campground you don’t get a lot of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is October, and February is when it's the driest.
