| | All through the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Almont Campground. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 30's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Almont Campground during the wintertime regularly drop into the-10's. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available around here such as hiking, and whitewater paddling, so running out of cool stuff to do won’t happen.

of fun is at this campground. Take a hike on the Onemile Cattle Trail, and nearby you locate tremendous places like Fisher Gulch.

There's just no way anyone can get bored
here at Almont Campground. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Taylor River, and Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park is a very glorious spot to go to.
