Yellow Jacket Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   A number of people stay at Yellow Jacket Campground in order to be next to Eldorado National Forest. All the water falling down from the sky makes Yellow Jacket Campground a wet place; the month with most of the rain is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Yellow Jacket Campground is near Eldorado National Forest which is a delightful spot, and there's whitewater on American River - South Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. So many amusing things to do here at Yellow Jacket Campground, too glorious to be true. The Sun Rock Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some wonderful whitewater. Really fine skiing awaits you at Alpine Meadows, and Tells Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. And that's not all the things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Yellow Jacket Campground is right by the Dry Lakes Trail; Sugar Pine Point State Park is a tremendous spot to stretch your legs a bit.
