| | Wild Plum is an excellent place to camp for all ages. Most camp spots are right next to a beautiful rushing river and there is a small lake and waterfall (seasonal) within a 10 minute walk across the river. The lake is deep enough for cliff jumping!! Bathrooms are available, though they are like most campground bathrooms (non flushing). Black Bears come around now and again, but they're really no problem at all. Beautiful hiking! This campground is a scenic location to stop by. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Milton Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 15. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Northern Sierra

when they come to stop by Plumas-Eureka State Park. There's absolutely no way to run out of enjoyable things to do near Wild Plum Campground; being here is perfect fun any time.
