White Horse Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California Custom Search   California is a fine place for campers. High temperatures at White Horse Campground through the long summer days are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. A campground like this is too great to miss. White Horse Campground is a good place of normal rainfall; the month with most of the snow is January, and the driest month of the year is July. So much enjoyable stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just phenomenal. Whitewater paddling is great on Feather River - North Fork, and as expected Whitehorse Creek is a beautiful stream that is worth going to. There's more to do close to White Horse Campground other than just hanging out such as fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. There are so many entertaining   things close to White Horse Campground; it positively is a fine campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are pleasant places to explore along the Finger Board Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Feather River - North Fork. White Horse Campground is one of the locations to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This campground is so great. People from Meadow Valley love to come to White Horse Campground, and a trip to Lake Oroville State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. The tremendous variety of local attractions and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation will make you pleased you came. The panorama of scenic Bucks Summit near White Horse Campground is glorious; visiting Plumas National Forest is a glorious thing to do. There is a magnificent hiking trail near White Horse Campground called the Cleghorn Bar Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Feather River - Middle Fork.
