At this campground you will always have a splendid time. While you're here at Whiskers Campground you will meet lots of folks from nearby Bass Lake, and paddling on San Joaquin River is so much fun. Whiskers Campground generally gets a great deal of rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here; July is when it's the driest. California is a brilliant outdoors state.

Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Whiskers Campground is so good! A day on the slopes of Badger Pass is just what you need, and splendid hiking is available along the Mono Meadow Trail. Whiskers Campground is an old favorite with the folks from Bass Lake. It's a nice idea to take a look at North Fork Sand Creek, it's in the neighborhood of Whiskers Campground, and don't leave Whiskers Campground without first going for a hike along the Chilnualna Fall Trail.

months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 40's; night lows during the wintertime for Whiskers Campground tend to be in the 20's. This site, the Central Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors exciting things.
Willow Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and a visit to Millerton Lake State Park is a splendid idea.
A visit to Graham Meadow revives the soul, and a wonderful place like Sierra National Forest is too brilliant to leave out.
