If you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater, and the Red Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail close by. who like lakes, Hidden Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. West Kaiser Campground gets a common amount of annual rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. West Kaiser Campground is one of the
spots to camp here in the Central Sierra Nevada. The nice variety of local attractions and the nice variety of outdoors recreation are perfect reasons to come. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. Here at West Kaiser Campground you'll perhaps meet some folks from Lakeshore, and Yosemite National Park is a splendid local destination.
