Campground in California is a great place to go. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always striking. High temperatures at Wawona Campground throughout the summer months are in the 80's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly
in the 40's, and night lows at Wawona Campground during the winter generally drop into the 20's. This is truly a delightful campground. Sierra National Forest is a delightful site. Near Wawona Campground you come across the Chilnualna Fall Trail which is a good hiking trail,
and get drenched paddling on Merced River. There are great places to discover along the El Capitan Trail; Wawona Campground is not far at all from Yosemite National Park.
