The nice variety of local attractions and so much to do are sure to keep you coming back repeatedly. As long as you fancy the outdoors you will fancy California. This camp ground is one of the splendid spots to camp here in the Coast Ranges.
There's lots of outdoors recreation available in the neighborhood such as hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so running out of enjoyable stuff to do won’t happen.
Ready to pitch that tent; Wailaki Campground

is a fine local campground if you happen to be in California.

Lots of people stay at this campground during their visit to Sinkyone Wilderness State Park. If you're seeking a category II-III whitewater run to kayak, you're in luck; the Shelter Cove Road to Honeydew portion is a nice 27.2-mile-long piece of Mattole River. In general this run of Mattole River is an amusing place for whitewater paddling. You must check restrictions before you go; whitewater paddling may become risky. A gorgeous great outdoors trail in the neighborhood, 2.2 miles from beginning to end, with an elevation difference of 1,399 feet is Lightning Trail.
