Overflow Campground is Ballard Ravine, and close by you come across the Grizzly Canyon Trail which is a good hiking trail. If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be dissatisfied; there's fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's out of the question to get bored.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool things the Northern Sierra Nevada has to offer. A journey to Eldorado National Forest when you're here at Vista Overflow Campground is never a bad idea; going for a hike on the Belix Trail is always a great adventure. For the duration

There is a good hiking trail near Vista Overflow Campground called the Pigeon Roost Trail, and paddling on American River - South Fork is so much fun.
