Van Norden Campground, Northern Sierra Nevada, California   As long as you fancy the outdoors you will fancy California. At Van Norden Campground during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, frequently in the 50's. This campground is a wonderful site to have a look at. At Van Norden Campground you always meet someone from Soda Springs, and the Long Valley Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. There are so many cool things next to Van Norden Campground; being here is pleasant fun any   time. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Fordyce Creek, and Donner Memorial State Park is a pleasant location to go. This camp ground is one of the magnificent sites to camp here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. So much entertaining stuff to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too good to be true. At Van Norden Campground you can see Andesite Peak; since you're here, you might as well explore Uhlen Valley. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Soda Springs since you're here; paddling on Yuba River - South Fork is so much fun. Van Norden Campground is a very popular campground with the folks of Soda Springs. The nice local attractions and all the outdoors recreation will absolutely have you coming back again and again. All year is a nice time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors. Yuba River - South Fork has a great whitewater paddling spot close by; if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Warren Lake Trail. Scores of folks stay here in order to be right next door to Tahoe National Forest. The high level of rainfall makes Van Norden Campground a reasonably wet place; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Everybody loves Tahoe National Forest, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Heath Falls Overlook Trail.
