Coming to this campground is always a perfect idea. Nothing beats kicking back at Pfeiffer Beach, and paddling on Big Sur River is so much fun.

day you can take a hike along the San Clemente Trail. As if Vado Campground wasn't enough, you can also go swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and hiking, so it's impossible to get bored. Not much precipitation falls here at Vado Campground; of all the months in a year January
| is the one with the most rain while July is commonly the driest month.

During your visit to Vado Campground you'll meet some people from Carmel for sure; a tour to Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park rejuvenates the soul. Vado Campground is a delightful camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Santa Lucia Range. Get soaked paddling on Little Sur River; not far from Vado Campground you'll come across White Rock Lake which is a pretty lake.
