| | Some activities here at Vado Campground are fishing, swimming, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Vado Campground is loved by the residents of Carmel. This camp ground is positioned in the pretty Santa Lucia Range. Vado Campground is ordinarily a relatively waterless spot; January is the month that gets the most rain while July is generally the driest month. Through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at Vado Campground while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. |
For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Vado Campground temperatures drop to the 40's. It's not possible to run out of exciting stuff to do in close proximity to Vado Campground; it is a very delightful campground.
| And that's not everything you can do here in the Santa Lucia Range. Post Summit can be spotted from Vado Campground; don't leave Vado Campground without first going for a hike along the San Clemente Trail. So many local attractions and all the outdoors recreation are fine causes to come. on the Manuel Peak Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Scores of folks stay at this campground when going to Andrew Molera State Park. This is such a pretty campground. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Little Sur River, and let's not forget Launtz Creek
which is a stream that you may bump into while here. A day at scenic Pfeiffer Beach next to Vado Campground is a splendid thing to do, and going for a hike on the Buzzards Roost Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This part of California has a delightful deal of outdoors
activities offered. Just can't get enough of the Santa Lucia Range. A good spot for whitewater paddling next to Vado Campground is Carmel River, and there are delightful spots to look at along the Oak Grove Trail. There's magnificent hiking along the Rattlesnake Creek Trail.
Finally, the time is right for camping again; Vado Campground in California is such a delightful spot. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Vado Campground. When you're here at Vado Campground it's always fun to stop by Andrew Molera State Park, and people from Carmel love to come here.
