Virginia Trail. Upper Springhill Campground is one of the sites to camp here in the Southern Sierra Nevada. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. A day on the slopes of Shirley Meadow is just what you need, and delightful hiking is available along the Cannell Meadow
Trail. This campground is so delightful. Ant Canyon is a great place to spend some time at, and if you come at the right time of year, Kern River offers some good whitewater. Be careful coming to the Southern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. There's
whitewater on Dry Meadow Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and do take a hike on the Old Sled Trail. A normal amount of rain falls here at Upper Springhill Campground; the month with most of the rain is January, and the driest month is July. There are so many fun things in the neighborhood of Upper Springhill Campground, and it's one of those places where everything is brilliant.
