Pines Campground. There are nice places to discover along the Buena Vista Trail, and Washington Column is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. Upper Pines Campground is a brilliant camp ground to use as a base while enjoying the Central Sierra Nevada. The Panorama Trail
is a pleasant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Upper Pines Campground, and Tenaya Creek is a good whitewater spot nearby. This campground is so pleasant. The top of Grizzly Peak is easily distinguished from Upper Pines Campground; a tremendous site for whitewater paddling
is Yosemite Creek. Sierra National Forest is worth a visit if you're at Upper Pines Campground, and the snow is great at Badger Pass. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada. You need to pop by Royal Arches while you're here at Upper Pines Campground, and Tenaya
Canyon is around here, and is a great place. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Go for a hike on the North Dome Trail. And if that's not enough there's plenty more amusing things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. There is a splendid hiking trail in close proximity to Upper Pines Campground called the Four Mile Trail, and Stoneman Meadow is a fine place to check out.
