Upper Pines Campground, Central Sierra Nevada, California   This is such a pretty campground. Don't leave Upper Pines Campground without first checking out Royal Arches; you can go for a hike on the Four Mile Trail. Washington Column is a fine place to have a look at while in the neighborhood; Badger Pass has great slopes and a friendly staff. The North Dome Trail offers hiking at its best, and a glorious place like Stoneman Meadow here at Upper Pines Campground is too fine to miss.
