There are splendid places to discover along the Bobs Flat Trail, and Fox Canyon is in the vicinity, and is a great site. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be disenchanted; there's fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t get bored. This
camp ground is one of the great places to camp here in the Central Sierra Nevada. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada. Skiing at Sierra Summit is one of those things you just should do; don't leave Upper Kings Campground
without first going for a hike along the Red Mountain Trail. Going for a hike on the Deep Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and paddling on Kings River is so much fun. The yearly precipitation here at Upper Kings Campground is about average; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here; July is the month with the least moisture.
