You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Sierra at Tahoe, and a quick trip to Cascade Creek is definitely a splendid idea. Hit the beach if you want, Kiva Beach is practically right here, and there's good hiking along the Hawley Grade Trail.

Lake is in the neighborhood, and great hiking is available along the General Creek Trail. This campground is so delightful. Baldwin Beach is in the vicinity of Upper Eagle Point Campground if you're in a beach type of mood; a cool spot to take a look at is Parson Rock.
