This campground is so tremendous. Mark West Creek is a glorious whitewater spot next to Upper Campground, and if you want to hit the beach, Palomarin Beach is in close proximity. Samuel P. Taylor State Park is worth a visit if you're at Upper Campground, and going for a hike along the Pablo Point Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

some fine people from Olema here, and hiking along the Lake Ranch Trail is magnificent fun. The high level of precipitation makes Upper Campground a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is January, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
A trip to Wildcat Canyon
is always fun, and needless to say Devils Gulch Creek is a stunning stream that is worth stopping at. Some people choose this campground for the purpose of being near Samuel P. Taylor State Park. Any time is a wonderful time at Upper Campground if you have a thing about the outdoors.
The panorama of Deer Point from Upper Campground is picturesque.
If you get bored of Upper Campground, you could also check out nearby Hagmaier Pond South, and Muir Woods National Monument is a great place nearby. In California you never run out of outdoors entertaining stuff.
Upper Campground is right by the Greenpicker Trail; you must definitely pop by pretty Wildcat Beach if you're here. All the brilliant local attractions in the neighborhood and such a brilliant variety of outdoors recreation are pleasant motives to come.
