For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 60's with temperatures at Twin Pines Campground dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. You'll meet a lot of people from Oxnard-Thousand Oaks-Ventura here, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Snowy Creek Trail.
Fort Tejon State Park is a tremendous site to stretch your legs a bit, and whitewater paddling is great on Piru Creek.
If you want a fine time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sierra Madre. Sespe Creek is a good whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Twin Pines Campground, and when you're here it's always fun to visit Hungry Valley State Park.
