There are plenty of folks from Markleeville here at Turtle Rock Campgrounds; going for a hike along the Charity Valley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This spot, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors amusing things. If the weather is wonderful here at Turtle Rock Campgrounds, you can go for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 13, and Millberry Canyon is around here, and is a brilliant site. Going to Washoe Meadows State Park right next door to Turtle Rock Campgrounds is a good thing to do; hey, Randall Creek is a glorious local stream. The Hawley Grade Trail is a great hiking trail near Turtle Rock Campgrounds. This is such a picturesque campground. Have a great hiking adventure along the Burnside Lake Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Carson River - East Fork.
